		<description>&lt;p&gt;Interesting, Though I doubt that this is an apples-to-apples comparison. I would push Shanghai up a bit (if you want an apartment with heat). And of course if you are local, better deals can be had. It is a bit deceiving to have it near the bottom. I would also juxtapose 2 salary levels (at least)over the rents. Perhaps add a few mmore cities like Montreal, Mexico City, and Beijing.&lt;/p&gt;
